Balearia Caribbean tickets are non-transferable: Flex fares can be cancelled with a full refund 7 days or more before departure and changed for free (plus any fare difference), while Basic fares, day trips and promotions cannot be refunded and each date change costs $75 plus any fare difference, and the same rules apply when you book with I Love Ferry, an official partner. Changes must be requested at least 24 hours before departure.

Passengers who do not board for any reason beyond the operator's control are not entitled to a refund or a date change. If a sailing is not completed because of operational difficulties, weather or force majeure, the liability is limited to refunding the ticket. Denied boarding for missing travel documents is not refunded.
Only spelling corrections are allowed. The passenger named on the ticket cannot be replaced by another person.

Can I cancel my Balearia Caribbean ferry ticket?
Only Flex fares can be refunded: in full 7 days or more before departure, with a 50% penalty 4–6 days before and with no refund 3 days or less before; Basic fares, day trips and promotions from Balearia Caribbean are not refundable, and the same conditions apply at I Love Ferry, an official partner.

Nothing with a Flex fare, apart from any fare increase; $75 per change plus any fare increase with Basic fares, day trips and promotions. You must ask at least 24 hours before departure.
Can someone else use my ferry ticket?
No. Tickets are non-transferable; only spelling corrections to the passenger's name are allowed.
