From Florida you can reach two Bahamian islands by ferry: Bimini (2 hours) and Grand Bahama, arriving in Freeport (about 3 hours). Both routes are operated by Balearia Caribbean from Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale (30–45 minutes by car from Miami), with online booking available at I Love Ferry, an official partner. There is currently no scheduled passenger ferry from Florida to Nassau.
